CHERYL L. WILBUR
Cheryl Lynn Wilbur, the daughter of Johnnie and Wanda (Shannon) Arrick was born January 17, 1952 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She moved with her family to Primghar where she attended school. She was united in marriage to Lee Hintz and was later married to Warren Mulder and from these two unions three children were born, Lynn, Jonathon and Shane. On December 28, 1996, she was united in marriage to Michael Wilbur in Primghar, Iowa. Cheryl was employed at the OBrien County Home as a cook and later established Moms which she operated for several years. In the later years she helped Mike in his lawn mowing business. She passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at her home in Primghar reaching the age of 63 years, 4 months and 21 days.
Cheryl enjoyed her children and grandchildren, family gatherings, camping, cooking, gardening, flowers and going to Knoxville. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was proud to be a cancer survivor.
Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Mike of Primghar; three children and their spouses, Jonathan and Kim Hintz of Primghar; Lynn and Brett Koontz of Hartley and Shane and Scott Dickson of Primghar; two step sons, Jon Wilbur of Cibolo, Texas and Jason and Kris Wilbur of Paullina; thirteen grandchildren, one sister, Judy and her husband, Hank Phipps of Primghar and a brother, Harry and Connie Arrick of Primghar; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a great grandson, Carter and one brother, Edward Arrick.
