CLLEON K. STUEVEN
Clleon Kae Stueven, the daughter of Thomas and Julia (Heitritter) Van Diepen, was born May 14, 1936 in rural Boyden, Iowa. She attended country school, later graduating from Sheldon High School. On February 10, 1956, she was united in marriage to Wayne Carl Stueven at the St. John Lutheran Church in rural Boyden, Iowa. After their marriage the couple made their home in Boyden, where she was employed at Van Bruggen Accounting; worked for the Boyden School District as a play ground supervisor and in the past years she was the Library Director for the Boyden Public Library. Her husband preceded her in death on November 16, 1996 in Boyden. Clleon continued to make her home in Boyden and passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at her home reaching the age of 71 years, 7 months and 22 days.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Boyden, the Red Hat Society and enjoyed sewing and reading.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Sondra and her husband, Jim Hembd and Rhonda and her husband, Jay Vahle all of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Joshua and Cody Meendering; her mother, Julia Van Diepen of Sheldon and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, Tom, James and Michael; her father and one brother, Tommy Van Diepen.
