DENNIS W. MERRY

Dennis Wayne Merry, the son of Harold and Norma (Nothdorf) Merry was born September 14, 1945 in Primghar, Iowa. He received his education in country school later in Primghar and Sheldon. He lived on the family farm with his parents, helping on the farm and working with his livestock especially sheep. Tractors were also a favorite of Dennis. In July of 2009, he moved to the Pride Group east of Primghar and in February of 2012, he moved to the Akron Care Center. He passed away at the care center on Sunday, September 15, 2013 reaching the age of 68 years and 1 day.
He enjoyed being on the farm, going to livestock auctions and playing cards.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Donna and her husband, Denny Waterman of Elk Point, South Dakota; three nieces, Tammy and Stan Carlson, Shelley Whitead and Kim and Merritte Whitead; a nephew, Scott Waterman also several great nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Norma; nephew, Merritte Whitead, two great nephews and aunt, Lillian Nothdorf.
