DORIS FRITTS 
  
     Doris Elaine Fritts, the daughter of Roy and Lucy (Sterler) Heritage, was born February 3, 1924 in Ashton, IA. She attended school in Ashton and graduated from Sibley High School in Sibley, Iowa. She also graduated from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa and went on to teach school in Ashton. On August 12, 1948, she was united in marriage to Langdon H. Fritts in Ashton, Iowa. After their marriage they lived in Sheldon for a short while and eventually moved to Carrollton, Texas in June of 1971. Her husband preceded her in death on December 13, 1971 in Carrollton, Texas. Doris remained in Texas to be close to her family. She passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the RHD Hospital in Farmers Branch, Texas, reaching the age of 81 years, 11 months and 15 days. 
     While living in Texas, Doris was active in America Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren.  
     Doris leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Robert Langdon Fritts and his wife, Suzanne of Denton, Texas; two daughters, Barbara Elaine Jones of Carrollton, Texas; and Beverly L. and her husband, William D. Lothrop of Colleyville, Texas; six grandchildren, Jesse L. Jones, Lauren Lothrop, Olivia Fritts, Emily Fritts, Evan Fritts and Bryan Lothrop; a sister, Frances Heritage Kramme of Fresno, California; and other relatives and friends. 
     She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Thelma Heritage Robinson.
