Dulce Rubio, age 16, of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon, Iowa. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sheldon, Iowa with Fr. Siby Punnoose ~ officiating.
Burial will be at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.
Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 with the family present from St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sheldon, Iowa
Arrangements are under the care of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home – Sheldon.

Dulce Rubio de 16 años entró a eterno descanso el sábado 24 julio del 2021. Ella era hija de Ricardo y Blanca Isela Rubio con dos hermanos, Ricardo y Omar Rubio y su hermana Karina Rubio. Ella amaba viajar. Llegó a conocer Europa, Londres y París el cuál fue su favorito. Aparte de viajar, a ella le gustaba compartir tiempo y viajar con su familia junto con dibujar y leer. Ella era una niña muy cariñosa y alegre. Trabajaba en Fareway y siempre tenía una sonrisa en su rostro aparte de ser muy amable.

Dulce Rubio, 16 went into eternal rest on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was the daughter of Ricardo and Blanca Isela Rubio, with two brothers, Richardo and Omar Rubio and her sister, Karina Rubio. She loved to travel and got to know Europe, London and Paris. Paris was by far her favorite place because of its beautiful scenery. Besides traveling, she loved spending time and traveling with her family and enjoyed drawing and reading. She was a very loving and cheerful young lady. She worked at Fareway and always had a smile on her face along with being very friendly.
