JEANNINE A. KRIER

Jeannine Ann Krier, the daughter of John and Vera (Crowe) Lynch was born July 5, 1929 in Rock Rapids, Iowa. She received her education in Rock Rapids and graduated from high school. On November 22, 1948, she was united in marriage to Donald J. Krier in Rock Rapids. After their marriage their first home was in Rock Rapids where she was employed as a dental assistant. The couple moved to Primghar in 1955 to make their home and later to Paullina in 1966. While in Paullina, Jeannine was employed at Schubert’s Clothing and later Don’s Clothing. For many years she was also a waitress at the Paullina Legion and before she retired she was in the Green Thumb Program and working at SOS. Her husband preceded her in death on January 19, 1991 in Primghar. She remained in the family home where she passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 reaching the age of 82 years, 1 month and 9 days.
She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Primghar and the Guild of the church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Paullina.
Jeannine is survived by three daughters, Vicki and her husband, Don Trapp of Charlotte, North Carolina; Jolene Wallin of Paullina; and Jackie Blaise of Omaha, Nebraska; one son and his wife, Donald Paul and Dianne Krier of Sioux City, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, also other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, Jack, Jim and Joe Lynch; and three sisters, Betty Jerde, Gloria Breuer and Muriel Schreurs.
