Ladd J. Huffman, age 67 of Calumet, Iowa passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his request there will be no services.
The Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina is assisting the family.

Ladd J. Huffman
Ladd Jay Huffman the son of Charles and Lucille (Ahrens) Huffman was born December 25, 1949 in Cherokee, Iowa. He attended school in Gaza, Iowa and later graduated from Sutherland High School in 1968. After graduation, he worked at Huffman and Sons Repair Shop in Calumet. He was called into the United States Army serving from September 18, 1969 until his discharge on June 3, 1971 which included deployment in Vietnam. After his discharge, he worked at Huffman and Sons Repair in Calumet until moving to Bakersfield, California. On October 11, 1975, he was united in marriage to Marcia Froehlich in Cleghorn, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived for a short time in Bakersfield until returning to Calumet in 1975 and he bought into Huffman Repair. He worked there until ill health forced his retirement. He has made his home in Calumet ever since. He passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 reaching the age of 67 years, 5 months and 29 days.
He enjoyed restoring cars and car shows.
Ladd is survived by his wife, Marcia Huffman of Calumet; two daughters and their husbands, Rhiannon (Brad) Harms of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Karma (Bill) Fafendyk of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Brannon and Cael Harms and Adele and Laney Fafendyk; one brother and his wife, Judd and Connie Huffman of Primghar, Iowa and one sister, Corbin Puhrman of Paullina, Iowa also seven nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
