LORRAINE JURGENSEN
Lorraine Jurgensen, the daughter of George and Caroline (Holtgrewe) Jurgensen was born March 30, 1926 on the family farm south of Paullina, Iowa. She grew up on the family farm south of Paullina and received her education at the school for the deaf in Sioux City, Iowa. After her schooling she returned to the family farm where she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and putting puzzles together. In 1996, she entered the Paullina Care Center and in 2008, she moved to the Sutherland Care Center in Sutherland, Iowa. She passed away at the Sutherland Care Center on Thursday, April 14, 2016 reaching the age of 90 years and 14 days.
Lorraine is survived by one brother, Larry Jurgensen of Paullina, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lloyd.
