MARLYS ELAINE AULT

Marlys Elaine Ault, the daughter of Edward and Martha (Wrede) Lange was born January 11, 1922 in O’Brien County, Iowa. She received her education in Zion Lutheran School, later graduating from Paullina High School in 1940. After her graduation from high school she moved to Chicago to live with her sister, Eleanor. While in Chicago she met and married Jack Ault. The couple made their home in Chicago before being transferred for their work to Houston, Texas. She worked in the Houston area for many years before her retirement in 1990. Her retirement years were spent in League City, Texas where she made her home. Marlys passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas reaching the age of 89 years, 5 months and 11 days.
She was baptized and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. Hartmeister in 1935.
Marlys is survived by one sister, Helen Recker of Paullina; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold and twins, Merle and Earl Lange, sisters, Caroline in infancy and Eleanor Gebert.
