ROBERTA E. MULDER
Roberta Ellen Mulder, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Lutjens) Reimers was born March 3, 1955 in Boyden, Iowa. She received her education in Boyden-Hull Community Schools and graduated from Boyden-Hull High School in 1973. She began her employment with the packing plant in Boyden, which is now known as Sig International of Iowa. She worked from 1973 until her retirement in 2008 as the packing supervisor. On August 22, 1997, she was united in marriage to Robert Mulder on the family farm near Boyden. She retired to care for her mother which she did until her mother’s passing. Roberta passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at her home near Boyden, reaching the age of 54 years, 9 months and 16 days.
She was a baptized member of the United Presbyterian Church in Boyden. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a very caring person, by always caring for others. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers crafts, animals and especially her dogs.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Robert of Boyden; a step-son, Justin Mulder and his special friend, Beth Davelaar and her son, Jaxson of Alton; a step-daughter, Amber and her husband, Luke Johnson of Alton; two step-grandchildren, Breanna and Madison; a sister, Alice and her husband, Duane Stowe of Dakota City, Nebraska; two nephews, Duane James Stowe and Robert Jay Stowe; a cousin, Lori and her husband, Gary Korthals and their children, Codie, Darci and her special friend, Justin Tiedemann; also other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mary Pierce.
