ROGER D. VAN DE STOUWE

Roger Dean Van De Stouwe, the son of Gerrit and Esther (Vander Weerd) Van De Stouwe was born on August 6, 1947 in Sioux Center, Iowa. He attended Sheldon schools and continued his education at Northwest Iowa Community College receiving his GED. He then furthered his education at Northwest Iowa Community College getting his welding certificate in 1976. He began welding at Demco in November of 1979 and remained there until he retired in April of 2011. Roger passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his residence in Boyden, Iowa reaching the age of 67 years, 6 months and 22 days.
Roger enjoyed his daily routine of having coffee at the Farmers Coop in Boyden.
Left to remember Rogers life is his brother, LeRoy and his wife Leanna Van De Stouwe of Rapid City, South Dakota; one niece, Sheila and her husband Marvin Olson of Loveland, Colorado; one nephew, Gary and his wife Kathy Van De Stouwe of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; seven great nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents.
