Rose was united in marriage to Airlin De Vos on July 26, 1968 in Hudson, South Dakota. Rose spent her time raising their children and was an administrative assistant for Airlin in his Insurance and Wealth Management Business. She and Airlin took great pride in their family business, Roselin Community. Rose passed away with her family by her side on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota reaching the age of 68 years, 3 months and 9 days.
Rose was an active member of Bethel Reformed Church in Sheldon. She was known as a helping hand to others and spent 20+ years organizing mission work projects with Airlin for the Reformed Church of America East Sioux Classis. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, crocheting and sewing. Traveling was a great source of fun and relaxation for Rose, whether it be a short trip to one of the grandchildrens activities, a vacation week with the entire family, or a getaway with Airlin, they were always on the go. Branson was their favorite place to visit. They enjoyed a variety of shows and the beauty of Table Rock Lake. They quickly became unofficial Tour Guides to friends and family.

My Prayer

Dear Lord, give me patience,
Through what I have chosen to do.
I am prepared to give my life,
So that I may work for you.
I ask you for patience,
For the hill that I will climb.
And keep me from temptations,
So your glory I will find.

Bless me with your wisdom,
So my understanding and knowledge will grow.
Give unto me armor,
To protect me from the foe.
And be with me in the valley,

Where the shadow of death doth roam.
Comfort me with your rod and staff,
Until you call me home.
