STEVEN V. ROSELAND
Steven Vincent Roseland, the son of H. George and Evelyn (Ryan) Roseland was born March 9, 1959 in Storm Lake, Iowa. He attended Paullina schools graduating from Paullina High school in 1977. After his graduation he began working for United Foods in Paullina as a meat cutter. He was united in marriage to Amy Simm and to this union three daughters were born; Holly, Leah and Kayla. He was later united in marriage to Maureen Wheeler and to this union three children were born; Charlie, Shane and Sara. For over 35 years, Steve drove truck and owned and operated Roseland Trucking. He passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 57 years, 8 months and 25 days.
His family was everything to Steve and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed being on the road truck driving and was a Nebraska Cornhusker fan.
Steve leaves to cherish his memory his children; Charlie (Jill Jurgensen) Roseland of Sutherland, Iowa; Shane Roseland of Hartley, Iowa and Sara and her husband, Derek Hurtig of Paullina, Iowa; grandson, Huxley Hurtig; three daughters, Holly, Leah and Kayla; friend, Diane J.; his mother, Evelyn Roseland of Paullina; Iowa; siblings, Sam Roseland of Hudson, South Dakota; Mary (Bernie) Bruns of Paullina, Iowa; Nancy Brownmiller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Carol Drost of Bolivar, Missouri and Gayle Roseland of Boone, Iowa; also other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Margaret and Wanda.
