Betty L. Beermann, 92, of Sanborn, formerly of Paullina passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Prairie View Home in Sanborn. Her funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown with Rev. Carl Stenzel, officiating.
Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation with family present will be from 12 (noon) to 12:45 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown.
Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.

Betty Lou Beermann, daughter of Floyd and Marie (Steuck) Carlson was born in Primghar, Iowa on August 29, 1933. Betty became a member of the Lutheran faith through baptism and confirmation at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, Iowa. She received her elementary education in country school and graduated from Hartley High School in 1951. On August 24, 1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina, Iowa, Betty married Ronald William Beermann. To this union three children were born: Donald, Jean, and Paul. In addition to farming with her husband, Betty worked at various jobs in Paullina over the years, such as the Paullina Bakery and Paullina Locker Plant. She also worked at Alfs Manufacturing in Sheldon, Iowa. In her retirement years, Betty enjoyed gardening, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. Betty was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 73 years, Ronald Beermann, of Sanborn, Iowa; children, Jean (Brad) Meyer of Blue Springs, Missouri, Paul (Dennette) Beermann of Cherokee, Iowa; five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Henry Anderson of Hartley, Iowa, and Brian Engelke of Sutherland, Iowa.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Donald Beermann; infant sister-in-law, Luella Beermann; sisters-in-law, Darlene Blumeyer, Caroline Rensink, Carol Andersen, Betty Engelke, Bertha Laursen, and Jennie Beermann; brothers-in-law, Conrad Laursen, Wendell Rensink, Brad Andersen, Verdean Blumeyer, and Merlin Beermann, and great grandchild, Halas Guinn.
