Services for Beulah M. Pingel, age 99, of Milford formerly of Paullina who passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Accura Healthcare of Milford. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.

Beulah May (Anderson) Pingel was born on May 14, 1926, on a farm near Curlew, Iowa to August and Lena (Miller) Anderson. She was baptized by the Lutheran faith in June of 1959. She attended rural country school and Emmetsburg High School. She received a degree from the University of Northern Iowa and attended Emmetsburg Junior College, Drake and Creighton. Beulah taught school for twenty-five years and was “Teacher of the Year” for Iowa in 1968. She taught at Curlew, Eagle Grove, Emmetsburg and Bradgate and retired in 1973.

She married LeRoy Pingel of Cleghorn in 1975. The couple farmed until 1983 when they moved to Paullina. They then managed farmland in Cherokee and Palo Alto counties. LeRoy preceded Beulah in death on July 11, 2022.

Beulah was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina. She served on the Palo Alto Soil Commission, Northwest Aging Advisory Board, O’Brien County Council and served on Zion Ladies Aid. She had traveled in all fifty states, Mexico, Canada, and most of Europe. Beulah also never regretted going on bus tips with LeRoy as they always had a fun time.

Beulah is survived by LeRoy’s sons, LeDoyle, LeDen and his wife Faith; nephews, Dan Yonker and family, niece Sally Anderson and family; great niece, Sloane Cass and Family; cousin, Sarah Alice and her husband Aubrey LaFoy; also, other relatives and friends.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Norman and Lela Anderson, Lloyd and Lucille Anderson, nephews, Calvin Anderson, Robert and Velma Weaver, and Garwin Anderson and nieces, Sheila Anderson-Tyner and Connie Yonker.
