Brent Lyle Mosier’s first adventure on earth began when he was born on March 4, 1957 in Madison, WI. Shortly after, the family moved to Lake Benton, MN where Brent grew up. He attended Pillsbury College in Owatonna, MN where he met Millie, the first love of his life. They were married on April 8, 1977 and began their life adventure together in WY, first in the small town of Meeteese where sons Nathan and Bradley were born, then moving to Baggs where Brent was the Director of Public Works, joined the Fire Dept., became an EMT, and started and led a Boy Scout troop for 11 years as Scout Master. In 2004 Brent and Millie moved to Page, AZ where Brent became the head supervisor of the city’s water and wastewater plant. Brent and Millie had just begun traveling and camping adventures when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013. In 2019 he retired to care for Millie and they moved to Sheldon, IA to be near family. Millie passed in 2020 after a 43 year adventure of marriage to Brent.

On November 27, 2022 Brent found and married the second love of his life, Gayle, at Calvary Baptist Church as God planned.

Brent Mosier was first and foremost a born again believer in his LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a good, kind, gentle, patient, loyal, caring man who taught others what a Godly husband is by living it. He was a quiet man whose strength could mostly be seen behind the scenes helping others with their projects but never ever in the spotlight. He loved the kids and helping with K4T and Bible school as well as the folks he did activities with at the nursing home. He badly missed being there when his health stopped him. Harvest time with Bob was his delight, too. He loved to design and build things like chairs for the “littles”, the porch smooching bench for Gayle or the “tiny house” camper. He was always planning the next adventure whether it be hiking 500’ down a canyon wall, camping in bear country in the mountains of Utah and Arizona or just visiting a nearby county park. He couldn’t wait to take Gayle on their next adventure in their little camper.

Brent’s final earthly adventure, the cancer adventure, ended on April 10, 2026 when his first eternal, glorious adventures in Heaven began.

Those who will miss Brent most are his wife, Gayle, sons Nathan (Jessica) and Bradley, stepdaughters Anna (Brandon) and Jane, grandchildren Collin, Cody, Ari, Brayden, Cordell and Caden, step-grandchildren Jay, Jon and Emily, sisters Cheryl (Richard) and Cory, brother Bruce (Deb), sister-in-law Michelle, aunts Hope and Terri, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.

Those who have gone on before are parents Lyle and Betty, wife Millie, brothers Bryan and Brice, brother-in-law Bruce and nieces Debbie and Carissa.
