     Brian Williams, age 48, of Omaha, Nebraska and formerly of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  His Memorial Service will be 1:30 P.M. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Vander Ploeg Funeral home in Sheldon, Iowa with Rev. Paul Van Maaren ~ officiating.

     Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.

     Visitation with family present will be from Noon until the time of service on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.

     Brian Williams, age 48, passed away December 8, 2022 at Sanford Hospital Sioux Falls, SD surrounded by his loving family.

     Brian was born February 21,1974 son of Janet Ennor (Marty) in Sheldon, IA. Brian was raised in Sheldon where he attended school. After high school Brian worked for various construction companies. Brian was an accomplished craftsman, and mentored many young tradesmen in various types of construction throughout the years.  

     Brian was united with Crystal Williams on April 25, 2010. As a result of this union Brian was blessed with two children Aidan and Tyler Hughes. Brian and Crystal established their home in Omaha, NE. They had two sons together, Ian and Owen Williams. Brian’s sons brought him unimaginable joy, and he loved them with all his heart.  

     Brian was a kind and selfless man with a huge heart. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.

     Survivors include; his wife, Crystal Williams, children; Tyler and Aidan Hughes, Ian and Owen Williams. His mother, Janet Ennor (Marty) and Grandmother, Margaret Reekers, his sister and brother-in-law Stacie (Brian) Stofferan, Sister-in-law Bliss (Josh) Kruse. Aunts and Uncles; David (Carol) Reekers, Beth Reekers, Mike (Donna) Williams, Deb (Gary) Glass, and Pat (Penny) Williams. Many cousins, nieces and nephews that miss him greatly. 

     He was preceded in death by; Brian Reekers(uncle), Jeremy Reekers(cousin), George Reekers(grandfather), Mary Williams(grandmother), Mark Williams (grandfather) and Everett Schmidt (father-in-law.)
