Carolyn Storm, daughter of Charles Nathaniel and Gwendolyn Maxine “Jiggy” (McCroskey) Hall, was born on November 17, 1949, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She received her education in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School. After graduation, she continued her education in Worthington.

On May 14, 1983, Carolyn was united in marriage to Larry Storm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Following their marriage, they made their home on the Storm family’s generational farm near Archer, Iowa, where they built a life rooted in faith, family, and love. Carolyn devoted her life to being a stay-at-home mother, a role she cherished deeply. She found her greatest joy in raising her two boys and spending her time at home with her family. She loved the simple moments, the laughter, and the everyday life they share together.

Carolyn was a devoted member of First Reformed Church in Sheldon. Her faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life. She loved reading her Bible, spending time in prayer, and lifting others up through faithful prayer. She often participated in multi-state prayer calls and carried a deep love for others in her heart. Her faith guided her daily life and the way she loved those around her.

Family meant everything to Carolyn, and her joy grew even deeper as she became a grandmother. She loved her grandchildren with her whole heart and treasured every moment spent with them. Whether it was simply being together, watching them grow, or sharing everyday life, her grandchildren brought her endless happiness and purpose.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Larry Storm of Archer, two sons and their spouses, Charles and Brittnie and Sam and Kelsey Storm all of Sheldon, five grandchildren, Merry, Emmie, Mazie, Beckham, and Parker, one sister, Mary Hendricks, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Roger and Fred Hall.
