Services for Danielle N. Pedersen, age 33, of Paullina who passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Orange City Area Health. Her memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Boy Scout Island in Mill Creek State Park in Paullina with Pastor Justin Jenness ~ officiating.
If you are attended the service, please bring a lawn chair and the family asks for people to wear Husker Red or something colorful to the service.
The service will be livestreamed on the Eldridge Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
Burial will be held at a later date in Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation with family present will be from 4 – 7 P.M. on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.
The family asks that you wear a mask to the visitation and service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards the family for an education fund for Braylynn & Roklyn.

DANIELLE N. PEDERSEN

Danielle Pedersen, the daughter of Peter Matthews Jr. and Tracy Fox, was born on December 17, 1987, in O’Neill, Nebraska. The family made their home in Paullina, Iowa, where she attended school and graduated from South O’Brien High School in 2006. After graduation, Danielle remained in Paullina and worked as a Supervisor for Rosenboom and recently started as a Supervisor at Sioux Automation in Sioux Center. On May 6, 2017, she was united in marriage to Cody Pedersen in Paullina, Iowa. To this union two daughters were born, Braylynn and Roklynn Pedersen.
Danielle was full of life, laughter, and love. She was known for her witty sense of humor and big heart, leaving an ever-lasting impression on others. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, watching Nebraska football (Go Big Red!), and being a mom and aunt to all of the kids in her life. She loved spicy foods, out fishing her husband, jamming out with her girls, and binge-watching scary movies. Dani was short, but mighty, and didn’t let anyone forget it. Her impressive rapping skills will live on.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Cody, and their daughters, Braylynn and Roklynn; father, Peter Matthews Jr. of O’Neill, Nebraska and mother, Tracy Fox of Paullina, Iowa; siblings, Peter and Morgan Matthews III, Tanner and Ricki Matthews, and Sierra Matthews all from Paullina, Iowa, grandparents, Sharon Fox, Roy and Darci Fox, and Gladyce Matthews all from O’Neill, Nebraska. She is also survived by her aunt, Tammy Fox, cousins, Hope Tjepkes and Whitney Wright.
Danielle was preceded in death by grandparents, Peter Matthews Sr., Dorothy and Bill Parks, Wayne (Lou), (Teresa), Fox, Dan and Etta Prescott, and Bertha Powell.
