Funeral services for Lori Lemke, age 91, of Paullina who passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Community Memorial Health in Hartley, Iowa. Her funeral service will be 1:30 P.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina with Rev. Donald Meyer ~officiating.
Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation with family present will be from 12:30 P.M. until service time on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the funeral home.

DOLORES M. “LORI” LEMKE
Dolores Mae Lemke the daughter of August and Nan (Ulferts) Lemke was born August 18, 1930 in Paullina, Iowa. She received her education in Paullina and graduated from Paullina High School in 1948. She went on to attend beauty school in Sioux City, Iowa. She returned to Paullina and worked in the beauty shops of Ann Hansen and later Mike DeVos until purchasing the shop herself. She operated Lori’s Beauty Shop for many years until her retirement. She made her home in Paullina with her sister, LaVerne until LaVerne’s passing in 2018. She moved to Prairie View Independent living in Sanborn. She later lived at Pearl Valley in Sutherland and for the last few months made her home at Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, Iowa. She passed away at the Health Center on Friday August 27, 2021 reaching the age of 91 years and nine days.
She was baptized on September 7, 1930 and later confirmed on May 21, 1944 and was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina. She was active in her church teaching Sunday School and being on the finance committee. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening.
Lori is survived by one sister, Geneva Bacon of Columbia, Missouri and two nephews, Raymond Bacon Jr. and Robert Bacon also other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Nana, sister, LaVerne Lemke and brother-in-law, Raymond Bacon Sr.
