Edward Jederberg, age 74, of Sheldon, Iowa, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon. Burial will be at a later date at the Adrian Cemetery in Adrian, Minnesota. Edward Allen Jederberg was born on April 17, 1943 in Adrian, Minnesota. He was the son of Lawrence and Doris (Hoskins) Jederberg. He lived his youth in Adrian where he attended school. He married Sandra Bowen of Magnolia, Minnesota on October 6, 1961 in Magnolia. Ed and Sandra later divorced. They lived in Worthington, Minnesota where Ed worked for the Ford Dealership until 1965 when they moved to Sheldon, Iowa and Ed was employed by Duis Motors for 3 years. He later worked for Boman Fastiner Company as a sales representative for 2 years. For a short time Ed was employed by the City of Sheldon as a police officer. He worked for A.G.P. as a truck driver and later owned and operated his own truck and worked as an over-the-road driver until retiring in 2004. When Ed wasn't driving truck he enjoyed hunting, buying and selling guns, breaking horses, restoring John Deere Tractors, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, vacations with the family, camping and traveling across the United States. Ed passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Ellten and Shelly Jederberg of Granville, IA, Scott Jederberg of Spencer, IA, Gina and Kevin Kruger of Sibley, IA; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Doris Jederberg.
