Elizabeth Ann, the firstborn child of Cloyd E. and Marlys (Brown) Cullison was born July 12, 1932, in the family home at Deep River, Iowa. She attended school and the Presbyterian church in Deep River until moving with her family to a farm southeast of Paullina, Iowa, in 1947.

She completed high school at Paullina and graduated with the class of 1949.  She then enrolled at AIB commercial college in Des Moines. She began working and stayed in Des Moines until being called home to help her family during her mother’s illness and passing in 1956.

Betty married Elroy P. Koehlmoos on February 14, 1958.  They farmed south of Paullina for a brief time and then moved to the farm one mile west of Gaza. She enjoyed being a farmwife, especially helping with the animals. Elroy passed away on June 16, 1971.  Betty stayed on the farm with her stepson.

She married O’Dean M. Einerwold on December 3, 1976.  They made their home in Sutherland where Dean was the O’Brien County Highway Maintenance shop foreman.  They were members of the United Methodist Church and active in the American Legion and Auxiliary.  Dean passed away February 2, 1983.

Betty lived in her Sutherland home until she moved into the Willoway Complex where she resided for 6 years.  In February of 2020, she took up residence at the Prairie View Home in Sanborn.  She passed away there on March 12, 2023, reaching the age of 90 years and 8 months.

Betty was an animal lover.  She enjoyed music, driving around the countryside and the early morning coffee group.  She also had a sweet tooth and rarely turned down anything chocolate.

Surviving to cherish her memory are stepdaughter Linda Jean (Steve) Revell of Urbandale; their daughter Sara (David) Zelinskas and daughters Charley Mae and Avie of Waukee; 3 siblings and spouses; Jerry and Barb Cullison, Ronald and Roverda Cullison of Paullina, and Linda Sue and Johnny Annala of Casa Grande, AZ; 2 nephews and 2 nieces and their families as well as other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her stepson, Jim Koehlmoos; and one nephew.
