            Services for Glenda M. Kamrath, age 91, of Sheldon who passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Sanford Sheldon Senior Care.  Her services will be 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon with Pastor John Jensen, officiating.

            Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Sheldon.

            Visitation with family present will be from 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 until time of service at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

            Arrangements are under the care of the Andring Funeral Home – Sheldon.

GLENDA M. KAMRATH

     Glenda Marie Heibult Ostermann Kamrath was born March 3, 1933, to Fred J & Lizzie (Rudnick) Heibult in Meadow Grove, Nebraska.  She attended school in Ashton, Iowa and graduated in 1951.   She married Dennis Ostermann in July of 1963.  Dennis passed away on November 2, 1971.  On November 27, 1981, she was married to Marvin Kamrath.  He passed away on May 4, 2014.

     Glenda was employed at Northwest Iowa Community College in the accounts payable for 22 years.  She retired in 1989 and spent their winters in Arizona for 17 years before moving to Fieldcrest Assisted Living for 6 years.  Declining health had her move to Sanford Senior Care in 2021 in Sheldon where she passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

     Glenda leaves behind her children, Mark Ostermann of Vernon, Arizona and Pam (Charlie) Schwebach of Matlock, Iowa; grandchildren, Amanda Andrade (Gabe) of Arizona, Stacy Vaughn (Brian) of Indiana, Alicia McDonald (Travis) of Sheldon, and Kristi Schwebach of Missouri.  Also, 3 great grandchildren.  A sister, Dorothy Breuer of Ashton, Iowa and nieces and nephews.

            Glenda was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis and Marvin, a daughter, Marilyn in 2000, a sister June, and a nephew, Paul.
