Services for Joshua J. Mahler, age 44, of Paullina, formerly of Sutherland who passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his residence.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sutherland Fire Station from 2 - 4 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.

Joshua Jay Mahler, the son of Ivan and Kelly (Cheevers) Mahler, was born on November 5, 1978, in Hartley, Iowa.  He received his education from Sutherland School.  He was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed working on all kinds of vehicles.  He passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 21, 2023, reaching the age of 44 years, 2 months, and 16 days.

            Josh is survived by his sons, Brayden Mahler, Kylan Mahler, and Korbin Postma; grandson, Baylor; his dad, Ivan Mahler; brother, Chad (Jessica) Mahler and significant other, Jenny Jones; also, other relatives and friends.

            He was preceded in death by his mother, Kelly Meusburger.
