A celebration of life service for Karen Buck, age 56, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota who passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.. Her celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Primghar Church of Christ with Pastor Mike Cooper, officiating.
Visitation with family present will be held after the service.
Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar.

KAREN BUCK
Karen Buck, the daughter of Thomas and Helen (Wright) Horton who was born on August 13, 1969, in Cherokee, Iowa. She received her education from Sutherland Schools and graduated from Sutherland High School in 1988. She continued her education at Norfolk Community College. After college she began her career in retail at Wal-Mart and worked for 29 years and then moved to Pella to work for Pella Windows for a few years before moving back to be close to her family in Sioux Falls. She married Stacy Buck on June 13, 1998, and the couple later divorced. Karen passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Avera McKenna Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Karen was a member of the Primghar Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting reading her Bible, Hallmark movies, spending time with her children and grandchildren, going to fairs, flea markets, garage sales, animals, puzzles, traveling, and watching the Cowboys.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jazmine (Tim) Duis of Sutherland, Walker (Abby) Buck of Peterson, and Montana Horton of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren, Houston Horton, Dawson Duis, Arizona Horton; siblings, Dianna (Mark) Sigmon of Sac City, Iowa, Jeffrey Horton of Gaza, Iowa, Richard (Shirley) Horton of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Neil (Krista) Horton of Oklahoma, Marcia (Alex) Horton of Dubuque, Iowa, and Andrew Horton of Gaza, Iowa; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Helen Horton.
