Kerry L. Miller

Sheldon, Iowa

            Memorial services for Kerry L. Miller, age 71, 2024, of Sheldon who passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Ava’s Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  His memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar with Pastor Mike Cooper ~ officiating.

            Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar.

            There will be no visitation.

            Arrangements are under the care of Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar.


Kerry Lee Miller was born to George J. and Ethel (Chapman) Miller in Primghar  on September 28,1952. He attended Primghar Community School, graduating in  1970. After attending a technical school, he was hired as a computer  programmer for the First National Bank in Sioux City. 

He also worked at Ford Implement in Cherokee, Moen Implement in Inwood,  Hamann-Sauser Implement in Anthon and retired from Irving F. Jensen  Construction of Sioux City. In 1991 he married Coni Howe in Cherokee. They  later divorced. He enjoyed dogs, Harley Davidson motorcycles, the NRA and  PBR. 

Kerry is survived by his sister, Christa Farrell of Primghar, and brother, George K.  (Gloria) Miller of Middleburg, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joel, brother-in-law, James Farrell, and great-nephew Steven Anderson.
