Linda Kay Nagel, age 50, of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at her home in Sheldon, Iowa.  Her Private Family Graveside Service will be at 10:30A.M. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in the Hospers Cemetery in Hospers, Iowa.

Private Family Graveside Service will be in the Hospers Cemetery in Hospers, Iowa.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 19, 2023 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon, Iowa.

     Linda Kay Nagel the daughter of Lloyd Roger and Kay Frances (Gano) Dolphin was born September 11, 1972 in Sheldon, Iowa. Linda grew-up in the Hospers area, where she attended school and graduated from MOC-FV High School in 1991. On June 25, 1993, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Nagel in Sheldon, where they made their home. Linda worked at Evie’s Hallmark and the Warehouse on 3^rd on & off for the past 25 years. Linda passed away at her home on Friday, June 9, 2023 reaching the age of 50 years and 9 months.

     Linda enjoyed reading, baking, gardening and every Saturday night she enjoyed watching Svengoolie with her husband.

     She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Bob; the 3 children, Brandon, Alex and Emma all of Sheldon; her parents, Lloyd and Kay Dolphin of Hospers, Iowa; a brother, Lee (Julie) Dolphin, a sister, Lanise Erdhal and a brother, Lyle (Amanda) Dolphin all of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

     She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
