LORA B. KRUSE
Lora Beth Kruse, the daughter of Merlyn “Bud” and Donna (Noack) Kruse was born on March 5, 1962 in Sheldon, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon. She attended Sheldon Schools, graduating from Sheldon High School in 1980, she then attended Sioux Valley School of Nursing and graduated in 1983 with her RN in Nursing. Lora knew at an early age that she wanted to be a nurse, while working at the Sheldon Nursing Home while she was still in high school. Lora had worked for Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, The Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and for the Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon, Iowa. Lora passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, reaching the age of 57 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Lora was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon. She was gifted at needle work, presenting family and friends with beautiful gifts. She enjoyed bowling and was the photographer for the many family annual camping trips. She loved playing cards and passed her knowledge on to her nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish Lora’s memory are sisters, Susan Johnson of Hudson, Wisconsin; Nancy (Wayne) Woelber of Sheldon, Iowa and Mary (Lyle) Lundgren of Orange City, Iowa; nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, Gladys (Bob) Duckson of Burnsville, Minnesota; Lorna Saupe of Madison, Wisconsin; Peggy (Vince) Stagliano and John (Mary) Gourley all of Texas and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
