After Mike’s discharge from the service, they made their home on a farm near Sheldon. Marilyn worked at Mr. B’s clothing store for many years. Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon. She was a part of GEMS. She volunteered for many years at the Village Treasure Chest. She enjoyed sewing as she made a lot of clothes and mended countless number of jeans for her children and grandchildren. She and Mike took many trips together.
