Roben A. Bents, age 63, of Sheldon, Iowa passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A celebration of life visitation will be held from 1 to 4 P.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Rails in Sanborn, Iowa.

Roben Arlene Bents, the daughter of Andy Hugo and Vivian (Dagel) Bents was born on October 7, 1957 in Sibley, Iowa. She received her GED later in life and went on to attend community college. She spent most of her life as a caregiver. She worked as a CNA at Oak Park Care Center and Cobble Creek Assisted Living in Sheldon. After a battle with cancer, Roben passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 63 years, 3 months, and 3 days.
Roben loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and she also loved to go camping.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bradley, Dustin, and Jason Engelkes; grandchildren, Rian, Brett, Nathan, Owen, and Madison Engelkes; two brothers, Hank and Doug Bents; also other relatives.
Roben was preceded in death by her parents, son, Brian (Michelle) Engelkes, a grandson, Mason Engelkes and two brothers, Andy and Ronnie Bents.
