Funeral services for Ronda F. Irvine, age 68, of Primghar who passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Her funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the United Church of Primghar with Pastor Mike Cooper, officiating.

Burial will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar.

Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 P.M. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar.

Ronda Faye (Pippert) Irvine

Born on July 24, 1956 to Verlus LeRoy Pippert and Alice Mae (Frerk) Pippert, at Hartley Memorial Hospital in Hartley, Iowa. Ronda was baptized at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley.

Ronda attended Hartley Community School and graduated in 1974 from Hartley High School. Ronda went on to study at Sheldon Community College where she studied business administration. After graduating college she began working at North West Rural Electric Cooperative in Primghar, where she worked for 2 years. After starting a family she worked from home to raise her children and ran an in home day care. In 1984 she began working full time at the United States Department of Agriculture, ASCS office (now Farm Service Agency) in Primghar. After 33 years of service she retired in 2018.

Ronda was united in marriage on August 6, 1977 to Lee Irvine. They lived the first two years of marriage on an acreage south of Hartley before building a home in Primghar and moving to town in September 1979. Lee and Ronda were blessed with two sons, Lance Robert Irvine, Elgin, MN; and Chad Robert Irvine (Jennifer Einck), Spencer, IA. Ronda was a member of the Primghar Jaycee’s and was actively involved with the United Church of Primghar. Ronda was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. Ronda had a loving caring heart whose home was always warm and welcoming. Ronda enjoyed golfing, taking trips, baking, genealogy, and creating photo books. Ronda beamed with joy watching her grandkids grow to their teenage years.

Ronda was preceded in death by her parents Verlus and Alice Pippert, her sister Patti Pippert, and Aunts and Uncles, Marlene (Frerk) Olhausen, Glenda (Frerk) Rahbusch, and Mike Frolkey.

Ronda is survived by her husband, Lee, sons Lance Irvine (special friend, Terri), and Chad (Jen) Irvine and their children, Morgan, Wade, Trent, and Grant, brothers Brian (Becky) Pippert, and Gary Pippert, brother-in-law Jim (Sheryl) Irvine, sister-in-law’s Jane (Bob) Madsen, and Lois (Kim) Heckert, Aunts and Uncles Herman Rahbusch, LaDonna (Frerk) Frolkey, Bill and Carol Frerk, Darla (Frerk) DeBerg, and many special nieces and nephews.
