Rowyn Ann Ney was born sleeping and was called to heaven on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was the infant daughter of Scott Allen and Emily Ann (Jansen) Ney and little sister to Matthias Ney. While in the womb, she brought her family much joy. She loved it when her momma ate chocolate ice cream, and she enjoyed kicking and dancing into the late hours of the night. Her birth was greatly anticipated with joy and her death is greatly mourned.
She will forever be in the thoughts and prayers of her parents, Scott and Emily; her brother, Matthias; and grandparents, Michael and Jackie Ney of Matlock; Ronald and Ann Jansen of Sheldon; great-grandfathers, Thomas “Odes” Wolfe of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Gerald Portz of Sheldon; aunts and uncles, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mary “Jean” Portz, Elvin “Chris” and Patricia Jansen and Patricia Ann Jones; great-grandparents, Joseph and Armella Ney and an uncle Thomas Ney.
