Funeral services for Sally Ann Knowlton, age 92, of Sanborn who passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at her son’s residence in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Her funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Church in Sanborn with Pastor Joseph Bangert ~ officiating.
Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Sanborn.
Visitation with family present will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the church.
Arrangements are under the care of the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.

Sally Ann Knowlton was born in Canton, South Dakota on July 14, 1929, to Wilhelmina “Minnie” (Oster) and Selmer Anderson. She passed away on January 25, 2022.
After graduating from Canton High School in 1947, she was united in marriage to Don Knowlton at LeMars, Iowa on March 1, 1948. They lived their married life in Sanborn where they jointly operated the O.K. Rec & Lounge for 30 years.
Sally loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. She loved playing cards with her friends. She was always baking and cleaning and making sure everyone was taken care of.
Sally is survived by her two sons, Ed (Tami) of Crescent, Iowa, and Bobby (Connie) of Primghar, Iowa; one sister, Sharon (Lloyd) Jongerius of Coloma, Wisconsin. Grandchildren, Jessica (Rob) Beltran of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Jamie Knowlton of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Austin (Alexa) Knowlton of Council Bluffs, Kyle Knowlton (fiancé, Megan Tripp) of Crescent, Iowa; great grandchildren, Jordan, Connor, Dylyn and Jack; great-great grandchild, Jade. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don, sisters, Norma “Sis”, Deloras Anderson, Marlys Amundson, and brothers, Mel, Elmer, Merle and Terry.
