Sally J. Kelleher, 79, of Primghar, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Her funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar with Pastor Mike Cooper, officiating.

Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Primghar.

Visitation with family present will be from 12 (noon) until service time on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Primghar.

Sally Jane Kelleher the daughter of Raymond and Livissa (Pennington) Bryant was born January 9, 1947 in Pomona, California. She received her education and graduated from high school in California. On July 17, 1974 she was united in marriage to Walter Durham in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After their marriage the couple settled in California where they owned and operated a New and Used Furniture Store and also an Auction Company where Sally was one of the few women auctioneers. The couple moved from California and settled in Primghar in May of 1992. They owned and operated Grandma’s Attic in Primghar until Walt’s health failed. Sally worked as a CNA at Prairie View Retirement Home in Sanborn as well as Oak Park Care Center in Sheldon. Walt preceded her in death on March 1, 2007 in Primghar. On May 9, 2009 she was united in marriage to Paul Kelleher at the Church in Heritage Park in Primghar. After their marriage the couple remained in Primghar and spent winters in Alamo, Texas. While in Texas she played pool in the ladies pool league. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and collecting antiques. She passed away on Saturday July 4, 2026 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 79 years 5 months and 25 days.

She is survived by her husband Paul Kelleher of Primghar, children; Jane Townsend of Primghar, Iowa; Raymond Moreau of Queen City, Arizona; Kevin ( Jaime) Kelleher of Primghar, Iowa; Kyle Kelleher of Omaha ,Nebraska; many grandchildren and great grandchildren sisters Mary (Rick) Thomas Lucerne Valley, California; Aida (Richard) Goulart of Taft, California a brother Raymond Bryant of Ardmore, California also other relatives and many friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband Walter, step-son Randy Durham and her parents.
