Tina M. Nieuwendorp, age 49, of Sheldon, Iowa who passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Her Funeral Service will be PRIVATE Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the First Reformed Church in Sheldon, Iowa with Rev. Paul Van Maaren ~ officiating.
Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.
Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 ~ 7:00 P.M. on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon, Iowa.
Social distancing guidelines will take place
and Mask will be required for the visitation and the funeral

TINA M. NIEUWENDORP
Tina Marie Nieuwendorp, the daughter of the late Russell Sample and Linda Donnelly was born on August 2, 1971 in Kendallville, Indiana. From Indiana she moved to Elk Point, South Dakota where she received her high school degree in 1990. After high school she worked for Wal-Mart followed by many years at MCI. After finding the love of her life, she moved to Sheldon and was employed at Data Dimensions. On June 28, 2008 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jim Nieuwendorp at First Reformed Church in Sheldon. The couple made their home in Sheldon where Tina had her dream job of working at Children’s World until her diagnosis of breast cancer forced her into retirement. She fought breast cancer and was a 5-year cancer survivor. Tina passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota reaching the age of 49 years, three months and three days.
Tina was a member of First Reformed Church in Sheldon, Iowa. She enjoyed crocheting blankets, crafting, being a wife and a mom, as well as an avid fan of NASCAR. Her unconditional love, kindness and her faith in God were her hallmark.
Tina leaves to cherish her memory her husband Jim Nieuwendorp of Sheldon, Iowa; children Jacob Sample of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Jenna Sample and Joshua Nieuwendorp both of Sheldon; her mother and step-father Linda and Ed Donnelly of Elk Point, South Dakota; two brothers Bob (Pam) Sample of Cleveland, Tennessee, Greg (Keri) Sample of Sgt. Bluff, Iowa; her two dogs who she loved dearly Rusty and Jasper; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Russell Sample, an uncle Steve Sample and her two special grandmothers.
